West Virginia Credit Union League provides multi-level services and support for credit unions across the state.

About WVCUL

At the state and federal level, the West Virginia Credit Union League represents credit unions’ interests before members of Congress. Regulations impacting credit unions are monitored closely.

Preserving the credit union tax exemption has been a key priority of the League each and every year. In fact, the latest estimates show that credit unions saved a total of $3.6 million dollars in federal income tax (annualized) based on NCUA call report data.

League staff provide timely information on technical and compliance topics affecting credit unions through compliance workshops, credit union visits, and inquiries by telephone and e-mail. A compliance resource library is maintained at the League office. League staff stands ready to assist credit unions in need of regulatory compliance matters.
