Biography

Marcy Cauthon joined EPCOR in 2011. She is the Senior Director of On-Demand Education at EPCOR, where she leads the National Check Payments Certification Prep Program. With 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including extensive work in financial institution operations, Marcy brings deep expertise to her educational initiatives. She earned her AAP and NCP accreditations in 2011, APRP in 2018, and AFPP in 2025. Marcy also represents EPCOR members on the ECCHO Operations Committee, NCP Editorial Board, and Nacha’s Payments Innovation Alliance.

EPCOR is a not-for-profit trade association devoted to providing timely and relevant payments education and support to our members to help them maintain compliance, improve operational processes, and mitigate risk and fraud. Through its affiliation with NACHA and other industry associations, EPCOR fosters and promotes improvement of the payment systems which are in the best interest of its members. EPCOR serves over 2,300 member banks, credit unions, thrifts, and affiliated organizations.
