A well-prepared loan presentation is about answering basic questions.
Who is the borrower? What is
their loan request? How do they plan to pay it back? What if their expected
source of repayment doesn’t materialize? What is the borrower’s risk level? How
can the borrower’s performance be monitored? The presentation will cover CRE,
C&I, and agricultural credits, as well as personal loans to complex,
high-net-worth borrowers.
AFTER THIS
WEBINAR YOU’LL BE ABLE TO:
- Write complete, concise, fact-based loan presentations
- Effectively communicate a borrower’s strengths and weaknesses
- Accurately assess the factors in determining an accurate risk rating
- Understand the level of detail necessary to assess loan requests by purpose and complexity
- Avoid often-misused phrases in loan presentations
WEBINAR DETAILS
A loan
presentation’s length has little to do with its effectiveness. This program
will address how to provide the information loan approvers need to assess a
loan request in a concise, yet complete, manner. How much detail you include is
driven by the complexity of the credit and the type of credit being
underwritten. The program will include samples of good, and not so good,
content in your loan presentations focusing on real-world expectations for
quality loan presentations.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This informative session
is designed for credit analysts, loan officers, loan review officers, senior
lending/chief credit officers, and anyone involved in the loan approval or
review process.
TAKE-AWAY TOOLKIT

- Employee training log
- Interactive quiz
- PDF of slides and speaker’s contact info for follow-up questions
